Enable User Info but not linked to account edit

I think you can’t disable the link using this plugin. But, if the purpose of disabling Howdy link is to restrict the admin area for users; then try this

Add this code to functions.php

function restrict_admin()

add_action( ‘admin_init’, ‘restrict_admin’, 1 );

You can change ‘https://example.com/wp-admin’ string according to your requirement (that is https://example.com/wp-admin/profile.php) or can apply strops function https://php.net/manual/en/function.strpos.php

Note: This is not working for administrators. try this for subscribers.

I couldn’t get it to work. Actually, I don’t care if it’s administrators or anyone else, I want the link either gone or replaced with ‘#’, something like that. So maybe something like above without the IF statement?
