enable two column for blog posts alone

i have set one column for the whole site in admired options => layout & skins, but for the blog post pages the content main column and sidebar is necessary. due to the global setting the blog content is shown with the whole width like other pages.

when i create a blog there is no custom layout available to choose.

So is there a way to show the content in single column and the sidebar too for showing widgets.
