Enable to reload page after notice is accepted

  • My question is 2 part and is about the setting ENABLE TO RELOAD PAGE AFTER THE NOTICE IS ACCEPTED.

    1. I’m not understanding the purpose of that setting; might be a dumb question :/

    2. I do have that setting box ticked and the problem I’m noticing is that when the user clicks on ‘accept’ it does the auto-refresh – google is picking up the following url as a duplicate page! https://www.mydomain.com/?cn-reloaded=1 due to the added part in the URL.

    Maybe I can fix that issue with a conical… any thoughts on this are much appreciated. I think for now I might leave that box unchecked…but then does it satisfy the cookie notice properly? Ugg confusing!
