  • @nishagarg You can enable GZIP compression from WP-Optimize > Cache > GZIP compression.

Gzip compression is effective because CSS files and HTML files use a lot of repeated text and have plenty of whitespace. Since Gzip compresses common strings, this can reduce the size of pages and style sheets by up to 90%.

@bornforphp Thank you for your response. However, Gzip compression is already enabled from the WP-Optimize plugin. Anything else I can do about it?

@nishagarg Have you performed a conflict test yet?

Try deactivating all plugins except for WP-Optimize and see if it is resolved.

If so, reactivate each plugin one at a time until you find the culprit. You can check for the issue between activating each plugin, so you can see which one is causing problems.

Please let us know your findings.

@bornforphp tried doing it but still no luck. The below show-up under text-compressions

    /x/getad?src=…(aax-us-east.amazon-adsystem.com)
    /x/getad?src=…(aax-us-east.amazon-adsystem.com)

@nishagarg I think its coming from a third party plugin, could you please try to deactivate the plugin which deals with aax-us-east.amazon-adsystem.com

@bornforphp doesn’t seem to help either. Maybe I should change the theme and see if it improves the score. Thank you.

@nishagarg Yes, please check if changing the theme helps to fix the issue?

@bornforphp Yes, I will let you know.

@nishagarg Sure thing! do let us know how it goes?
