Enable setting post_parent for uploads

  • I’m not absolutely sure when this started, but some versions ago WordPress seems to have stopped to set the post_parent value for uploaded pictures. Is it possible to reenable this? My wordpress theme relies on it and so I have to add the value for each and every picture manually at this moment.
