    Afternoon all,

Sort of working install – I get the ‘enable sending referrers’ error whenever I try to update, instigate a new template etc.

Can’t be an uncommon problem as it has its own comprehensive help page, but having tried all the things listed still no dice…

    Apache2.0 PHP5.0 Mysql5.x Win XP

Doesn’t work in either IE6 or Firefox1.0.7 [but I made the recommended changes anyway] and I’ve configured Norton Internet Security as recommended.

I’ve unchecked the php_curl line in the php.ini file and checked the extension file is in the extension directory and deleted all my cookies.

    Any thoughts ?

    Rgds

Don’t dismiss this before you hear it, because it works for me (even still), but if you’re using a particular firewall brand that will cause the error.

As far as I know Norton Firewall and ZoneAlarm are the main culprits, try disabling those for a moment (sometimes slightly longer) then trying again.
