    What is your browser
    What is your AV
    What is your firewall
Are you running ANYTHING by Symantec
When did this start to happem and what changed just before that
    Have you updated any software

Have you checked the websites of all the above

and what have you tried ?

Browser: Firefox (checked for that value thingy)
    Antivirus: None
Firewall: Zonealarm (not pro, couldn’t do anything)
    Nothing by Symantec
It started happening right after i upgraded with a new domain (didn’t get rid of the old though) OR/AND updated to wordpress 2.0.

I’ve tried to delete cookies and mess with firefox about: config , what is CURL, and i did use a sub domain before i upgraded to https://my-coke.net

Okay, i’m sorry to bump this topic once again, but it’s really pitty that i can’t figure out how to do this =(.

I’ve tried all options by now..

Only cause i think of is this:

My wordpress was installed to me.heatmax.illusionfxnet.com before i purchased my-coke.net , and eveyrthing was working fine…now when i purchased my-coke.net i’ve set it as a addon domain, and set it for the sub-domain “me”, and set me.heatmax.illusionfxnet.com to redirect to my-coke.net , so now everytime someone will type me.heatmax.illusionfxnet.com he’ll get redirected.

The thing is i’m not able to add links AND not change the blog home (URL) because i “need to enable refferrer”…

    …??

    Heat

Hey, I got exactely the same problem, I cant change the Blog home because I need…
    Who knows the solution?

    Can’t you add pages aswell??

    Heat

Well, i just discovered that i have the same problem, i can do nothing but to post and edit!! =\…

Driesdk, please contact me at MSN: [email protected] so we try to resolve this together..

Also can anyone here help us?!

I solved this problem by using phpMyAdmin to change the URI. I then deleted the files in the WP cache folder via FTP.

hmm…i’ll try this…do you mean the cache folder located in “wp-content” and did you delte the directory or it’s contents only?

Thanks for your help, greatly appreciated =)

I deleted the folders that were in in that cache folder in wp-content. I think there were 3 of them. I left the .php file and the .lock that were in there.

Well it worked, but i’m sorry to say it didn’t solve the error message, does this mean i’ll have to change pages/links/categories by logging in to the phpmyadmin (MYSQL) database??? that would be a shame. =(

    Heat

It worked but you still get the Enable sending referrers error? Did you clear your browser cache and cookies?

    Thread Starter Heat

    (@heat)

    Yes i did,

there’s something you might want to see:

This is the line i get when i’m prompted to log into the admin area: https://my-coke.net/wp-login.php?redirect_to=%252Fwp-admin%252F

Notice those numbers and the F? they shouldn’t be there i guess, since whenever i type the RIGHT password and username i get an error saying the url wasn’t found, since i’m being redirected to: https://my-coke.net/2Fwp-admin2F , so i remove the two 2F’s manually and then log in, but the error is till there..

I am very sure that the redirection is causing the problem because i disabled it, and then it worked, but how come that in “an advanced blogging platform” i don’t get to control my URL? (read my post up there about the redirection i’ve done)

    I’m starting to get desperate..
