Enable Privacy Link option doesn’t seem to change anything

I’ve been messing around a bit with this plugin and maybe I’m not clear on how it works, but I was assuming that under the Cookie Popup tab, the option “Enable privacy link on popup” is the “Learn More” link on the popup?

If I check or uncheck that option it doesn’t seem to make any difference. I’d like to turn it off and add my own links in the description field and although I know I can hide the cc-link with CSS, I just wanted to see if that option is actually supposed to allow you to turn it off.

Also if you can clarify what the other option ‘One Time Cookie Acceptance’ does, because it doesn’t seem to do anything either.
