    Hi,

I’ve been running PostSMTP for a while and mostly it’s been fine. I have been having some spam related issues that have been more related to the server side of things and one of the things picked up in the headers is that i’m only sending HTML mails and not offering plain text.

I am using the plugin as an integration with Kadence blocks and there is a toggle to sent as HTML **OR** plain text (if i toggle this off) but by the looks of it the systems prefer if i offer **BOTH**.

Is this doable from within the plugin? THe form doesn’t seem to support it. Can i force this by using custom headers?

    Hello @dja_440

We hope this message finds you well.

Thank you for reaching out to our Support team. I am saddened that you have to face such issues. While you might consider custom headers to force a plain text part, simply adding headers isn’t enough. Email clients and spam filters expect a properly structured multipart message, and the correct way to achieve this is through PHPMailer. This method ensures that the email is constructed as a multipart/alternative message with both content types included. You can switch to PHP Mailer type by navigating to Post SMTP Settings> Connections> Mailer type.

Let me know your thoughts and feedback on this.
