"Enable Inclusive Checking" setting gone?

On an older version of this plugin (1.3.4, at least), there was an option called Enable Inclusive Checking that restricted pages with multiple/inherited group associations so that only members of all relevant groups would be able to see the page. That option appears to be completely missing from the settings page now, and the new default behavior is that any user belonging to any group can see the page? Have I missed something? It’s quite important for the site I’m working on to be able to restrict child pages with tighter security than the parent page, among other things.
