Enable duplicate slugs

    Hello.

    Is there any easy way to allow duplicate slugs in categories?
    To have for example spain/cities and germany/cities?

    Sorry, no. Internally, WP uses a term’s unique slug to identify it. Its parent terms don’t factor into this process, so every term slug within a taxonomy has to be unique. The only way to have duplicate slugs is to have it in different taxonomies.

    You may have duplicate term names, but not duplicate slugs.
