Enable comments by default on locations

    Hello,
    where or how can I enable comments on locations by default?
    At the moment comments are not active / visible by default only after I enable comments for the post.

    Hi @svenatkins,

    You are right. Although comments are enabled by default you must not disable comments in general settings. This overrules the OUM settings.

    Hi Daniel,
    I have enabled comments for wordpress posts in the general settings but for the location posts I have to enable “allow comment” for every single location manually.
    It is possible to accepts comments on locations by default?

    Alternativ formuliere ich die Frage noch in Deutsch, sollte besser gehen als mit meinem Englisch:
    Ich habe die WordPress Kommentar Funktion aktiv (funktioniert auch für normale Posts), aber für die hinzugefügten Standorte über OUM muss ich die Kommentarfunktion für jeden einzelnen Standort manuell aktivieren.
    Gibt es eine Einstellung um die Kommentare generell für OUM zuzulassen?

    Hi @svenatkins,

    you’ve found a bug that leads to this behaviour. I’ve already fixed it so that that comments will be allowed by default. This will be shipped with the next update (~2 weeks).

    In the meantime feel free to make a small change to the inc/Base/BaseController.php file around line 325. Please change 'comment_status' => 'closed' to 'comment_status' => 'open' and it will already work on your website.
