    Hello

I have some issues with the option” Enable automated taxes” not showing under Woocommerce -> Settings -> Tax

I would appreciate a helping hand to fix this.

Also we are shipping international to all countries. Is this plugin sufficient to cover most countries, or is there other plugins that can also help to calculate taxes?

Also – how does it work with us collecting taxes – and how are we supposed to pay these taxes to another country.

    Howdy!

You also need to have the Jetpack plugin installed and activated for it to work. Make sure you follow the setup process as outlined here:

    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-services/#section-1

This plugin allows you to ship internationally by offering international USPS rates.

This plugin calculates taxes as well:

    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-services/#section-12

Also – how does it work with us collecting taxes – and how are we supposed to pay these taxes to another country.

It works with the following countries: United States, Canadian, Australian, and United Kingdom-based stores, plus allowing usage for tax rates in a growing list of countries in the rest of the world including: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden.

It only calculates the taxes that customers would need to pay at checkout, you would still need to track and pay those taxes.

If you need a more robust option, then we recommend the following:

    Hello

i’m having the same issue with a client’s site that uses WooCommerce. We have checked everything and ensured JetPack is connected but it still giving us issues and the automated tax option is not coming up at all when i go into taxes.

The only thing that i can see in the status of woocommerce is that the version of woocommerce services is not tested with woocommerce 4.4.1

    Howdy @sergiov87!

I’d recommend opening a new thread for your issue, as it may not be related.

However if you have things setup properly as described above, this kind of problem is usually caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.
    ?
The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
