    Hello-

I need to make some changes to quite a few websites and products but they can’t go live until another few weeks.

How can I enable auto save for Woocommerce products? The WYSIWYG editor for description auto saves, attributes I can save manually but in the product short description, I can’t save any changes.

    Please help.

    Hi there @xxaimsxx

There are a few options for this. If you are using the standard “wp-admin” interface, you could set the product to Pending Review, or Private:

Alternatively, if you have the latest version of WordPress, you can use the new schedule feature which will publish your “post” in the future.

I hope this helps, have a great day!

    Thanks,

Sorry, I need to clarify. The product is already live (construction equipment) and the specifications need to be updated and live on say the 8th. I would like to update the product and be able to save the changes w/o actually clicking on updating because then it would overwrite the actual site.

    Does that make sense?

    Thanks,
    Amy

    Hi again @xxaimsxx

My apologies as well, I was wrong about the scheduling of changes in a product (post), this cannot be done.

I don’t know of a way to do it automatically apart from using a CSV file and importing changes to that product alone when it needs to “go live”.

    Thanks

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved. If you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
