    Hi everyone,
for almost 2 years I had the phenomenon that in unrelated intervals on the product page of my WooCommerce store no more items were displayed (completely white display).

It happened at irregular periods and seemingly without any correlation. Sometimes directly after a day or a few hours, then again for days or weeks not at all. The crazy thing was: As soon as I noticed it and logged into WP and just opened the store page in the backend (WITHOUT saving) the articles were visible again. The problem was that I couldn’t reproduce it in a local test environment. For one thing, it didn’t happen there and as soon as I pulled the live version into my local environment, the products were visible again.

This was of course quite disastrous, because at that moment the users or customers didn’t see anything and therefore couldn’t buy anything. In some cases I only realized after days that the page was empty again. I tried hundreds of things over a long period of time, until a user in some forum had the same problem and he identified the plugin YOAST as the cause.

So I deactivated YOAST and lo and behold: problem solved!

Are you aware of the problem or is there already a workaround to use YOAST properly again?

    Best regards

    Hello @brayhalv?

I’m sorry about your blank product page, but this is hard to troubleshoot since it happens randomly. However, can you confirm that your site meets the plugin requirements?

@brayhalv Thanks for your reply and for confirming the site meets the plugin requirements.

Next, ?can you please confirm you are using the most recent version of Yoast SEO, version 19.9? You can learn more about updating here: https://yoast.com/help/how-can-i-update-my-free-plugin/

Also, can you confirm you are using WordPress 6.1? You can check by clicking on the W in the top left and selecting About. If you need to update, please check with your host provider. Please know that if you are using an older version of WordPress Core you may experience unexpected behavior with Yoast. This guide explains more: https://yoast.com/why-we-dont-support-old-wordpress-versions/

If you update to the most current version of WordPress and Yoast SEO, does this resolve the issue?

If you have already confirmed that both Yoast SEO and WordPress are up to date and the issue is still occurring, we would next recommend performing a conflict check to determine whether another plugin or theme is interfering with the Yoast plugin.

The fastest way to do this is to?deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme?like?TwentyTwentyOne.

We recommend testing on your development or staging site, but if testing on a live site we recommend using the?Health Check & Troubleshooting?plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check?without affecting normal visitors to your site.

If you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process:?How to check for plugin conflicts.

@devnihil yes, both the Yoast plugin and WordPress have always been up to date for the last two years (as they are now). Since I can only reproduce the problem in the live site, I will not go troubleshooting again after more than 1.5 years of annoyance and anxiety that my articles are no longer visible. Honestly, I prefer to leave Yoast SEO disabled then and be happy that my customers can do shopping in my site. I would be happy if more people with the same problem would comment here (because they definitely exist). Thanks for your help and best regards
