  • Hi,

We can see the sitemap is showing empty lines. We are not sure why that is happening. We would like some more information.

    1. Are all your non-Yoast plugins and themes also updated?

    2. Can you confirm you are using WordPress 5.6.1? You can check by clicking on the W in the top left and selecting About. If you need to update, please check with your host provider.?Please know that if you are using an older version of WordPress Core you may experience unexpected behavior with Yoast.?This guide explains more:?https://yoast.com/why-we-dont-support-old-wordpress-versions/.

    3. Are you using WooCommerce on your site? If not, can you elaborate more on how the product sitemap was created?

    4. If you go to SEO-General-Features and disable the sitemaps and then clear all your caching (from your plugins or theme or server) and then re-enable the sitemaps does the issue resolve?

    Let us know!

    Hello!

    Sorry for the trouble.

Can you please perform the following and see if it resolves the issue?

    1. Deactivate the XML sitemap functionality under SEO > General > Features tab.
    2. Clear all your cache from your theme, caching plugin, server, CDN like Cloudflare, and browser. If you are not sure how to clear cache from theme/plugin, please speak to their developers. If you want to clear the cache from the server, please speak to your host provider. To clear the cache from your browser, please use this guide.
    3. Reactivate your sitemap again.

    Let us know the result.

    Hi,

We’re sorry that you are experiencing problems that might be caused by our plugin!

Just to be sure, we would like to rule out any plugin or theme conflicts that may occur. The fastest way to do this is to?deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme?like?Twenty Nineteen.?

Test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the?Health Check & Troubleshooting?plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check?without affecting normal visitors to your site.

We’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process:?How to check for plugin conflicts.`

    Hello,

I understand that devnihil. So what is next ? How can this issue be fixed ? I have checked conflicts and also disabled and enabled sitemaps.

I am not understanding why those blank urls are generated and how can I get rid of them.

    Hi @jatinder1987,

Sorry to see that the products aren’t appearing. Can you give us an example product page that should appear in the sitemap that we can check? We didn’t find any of those pages linked from the main menu.

If you didn’t find any conflicts or errors, we think the issue is specific to your site or your particular configuration since we’re not getting reports from other users.

If you’d like us to investigate by logging in to your site, you’re welcome to can purchase Yoast SEO Premium and receive our premium email support.
