Empty space at the top of each page

Hi,

Please create a “breadcrumbs.php” file into your “Child-Theme” directory.

Now copy the code from “breadcrumbs.txt” file using this link and paste into “breadcrumbs.php”

file of your “Child-Theme” directory.

Save the changes.

Note: Now open “breadcrumbs.php” file into any text editor and find the below line of code:

Here you can change your img src, height, weight etc or edit code according

your need.

Thank you, think I understand that, managed to do it, but it’s the same image on every page. Is there any way of making each pages image different at all?

One more question…

I noticed when I removed all content from the breadcrumbs.php, it removed the title completely. Is there a way to remove the title completely from just this one page, but leave the title in all other pages? (Don’t worry about the banner part)

I’m guessing removing the title from all pages would be bad for SEO?

I’m thinking of removing the title from every page, as it pushes the content down the page too much. So for instance https://lovefamilyholidays.co.uk/best-holiday-destinations-family-breaks/ Best Holiday Destinations For Family Breaks | Uk & Abroad would be missing, https://lovefamilyholidays.co.uk/category/latest-family-holiday-deals/ Category Archives: Latest Family Holiday Deals would be missing and so on.

Would this affect SEO ranking in any way, or not a problem? If it doesnt cause SEO problems, how would I do this safely please?

Hi,

No this w’ll not effect SEO ranking.
If you want to remove entire breadcrumbs section use below css:

.page_title{
  display:none;
}

or if you want to remove only breadcrumbs title section use below css:

.page_title h1 {
  display:none;
}

Not sure how to even explain this… but I’ll have a go.

So on most pages, such as https://lovefamilyholidays.co.uk/best-holiday-destinations-family-breaks/ https://lovefamilyholidays.co.uk/best-places-to-go-on-holiday-with-kids/ and https://lovefamilyholidays.co.uk/category/latest-family-holiday-deals/ I don’t want a title to display, as it pushes the content down the page and isnt necciasry as I can use h4 tags etc to create a clear description of what the page is about.

However, when you go to https://lovefamilyholidays.co.uk/best-places-to-go-on-holiday-with-kids/ and then click on for example the Cyprus(2) title, or any of the other countries there, the link takes you to a page which gives no title or indication of the listings on that page being about Cyprus properties.

I do have the category description filled in on the classified category page which is run by WP Adverts, and it does say on that page;

The description is not prominent by default; however, some themes may show it.

What’s the best thing to do to either get the description to show up or just the titles on these category pages of the wp adverts pages?

As you told in above thread that you don’t want to use title on page.

So we provided its CSS rules to remove it.

Above CSS rules finally removed page title from all the pages.

Please explain what exactly you want.

If possible to provide screen-shot with marking where and what your issue.
