when you migrate a site the snippets will show up in the All Snippets list
however all snippets are completely empty
here comes the strange part, when you go in to the filemanager of the site and open any of the migrated snippets php file the file does contain the snippet.
    this is a real problem

  • I also have the same problem as the OP.

I have created my snippets on LocalWP and after migrating the whole site to a live URL (with All-in-one WP Migration) the snippets show in the list but when you open them the code is not there while in the meantime the files are present in the “wp-content > fluent-snippet-storage” folder.

By the way, it would be really awesome if the devs could add a backup and restore functionality in the future.

    Hello there,

Thank you for your cooperation on this matter. I have conducted tests on the migration from local to local sites and local to live sites and provided a full demonstration here: [https://somup.com/cZhjQi5Y8C]; where you will observe that the snippets are functioning correctly on the websites after the migration.

Additionally, I have carried out tests using the current 10.34 version of the FluentSnippet. I suggest trying once more with the updated (10.34) FluentSnippet version and re-testing the issue on your side. Hopefully, this might help you in this matter.

    Let me know the update.

    Thank you.

Hi Ruman and thank you for your response and the video.

Today I tried another migration from local to live with the plugin in the latest version and again I had the same problem. The code snippets are in the dashboard but the code is absent in all my snippets (PHP and CSS).

I am getting an error on the frontend of the live site that may hint something meaningful

Warning: Undefined array key 1 in /home/cpaneluser/mylivedomain.com/wp-content/plugins/easy-code-manager/app/Services/CodeRunner.php on line 244

The local site is built on Local from WP Engine’s Local desktop app on Windows 11. I am using All-in-one WP Migration for the backup and the rest of the setup in Local is as below:

    • Server: Nginx
    • PHP version: 8.2.10
    • Database: MySQL 8.0.16

Let me know if I can assist further.

    Thanks!
