“Empty Sitemap” error

    Hi guys,
    my Google Search Console is giving me an error reading a Yoast sitemap.
    This is the message I get: “Empty Sitemap. The sitemap doesn’t contains URL.”
    This is the main sitemap https://www.acidosimetabolica.it/sitemap_index.xml.

    I made no changes since many monthes except for WP version upgrade.

    Is someone having the same problem or somebody can give my any advice to fix the error?

    Hi @andre_33, After upgrading your WP version, can you check if you also have the latest Yoast SEO 6.0?

    If the issue persists, please check this KB article for Common XML Sitemap Errors to know how to resolve the issue.

    thank you for your reply ??
    Yes, I’ve also updated Yoast SEO at 6.0 version, but the problem is still there.
    I’ve checked the “Common XML Sitemap Errors”, but nothing like that.
    I’m using the Yoast auto generated sitemap_index.xml and if you look at the source code is a correct xml sitemap (would you be so nice to check it too?).
    Did you ever experience something like this?
    If it won’t work, do you think a can use different sitemap generated without Yoast?

    We looked at your provided XML Sitemap and we can confirm that Yoast SEO is generating the sitemap correctly and it does contain URLs. Therefore, we are not sure why Google is saying that there are no URLs in the sitemap.

    Can you please resubmit the sitemap to your Google search console property to check whether this resolves the issue?

    SAME ISSUE HELP??? I HAVE DONE ALL THIS AND THEN SOME JUST SITEMAP ERROR MY SITE MAP GENERATED

    I would like to start my own post but I am not sure how? I have an empty site map but its generated fine here https://canadiancookingadventures.com/sitemap_index.xml
