    Hi

    I have installed the plugin and authorised it with my twitter account.

    I tried creating both a rule by timeline and a rule by search (tried a search for xbox as there would be loads of those out there as a test to ensure I find things) – and added the widget by search and the widget is empty.

    If I do not highlight a rule text appears saying “No result could be fetched.” – which is fine – but as soon as I highlight a rule that text disappears and there are no results.

    Not sure what I did wrong – or didn’t do – any suggestions?

    Also, I noticed that if the widget is not the last widget in the sidebar it causes all the following widgets to disappear – so I am suspicious it is working behind the scene but some HTML is not terminated correctly and it is not only not displaying its own contents, but preventing the following plugins displaying too.

    Can you see tweets if you go Dashboard -> Fetch Tweets -> Manage Rules, and click on the view link in each rule’s title cell in the rule listing table?

    OK – some progress – but the answer is Yes and no.

    If I create a timeline rule then yes – and that does turn up in the sidebar – although a scrollbar appears on the right despite the widget being long enough and if I move it the entire contents toggles between visible/not visible.

    I tried some other rules but to no avail – I was just trying to show all the tweets that were sent from my account or mentions my account, so I thought a Search would work, with the search keyword as “@myhandle” – but view just says “No result could be fetched.”

    I found that if I omit the @ then I get results – but my handle has an underscore in it and it seems to treat that as a word separate and looks for either of the 2 words in myhandle.

    Which rule should I use to simple get any tweet “to” (a mention) or from my twitter account.

    Don’t know – whatever the plugin/widget defaults to. I have moved on to other possible widgets so right now it is not installed so I cannot recheck.

    I may come back to this one depending on feedback from my peers – others tend to be about displaying an account – which I like, but maybe we might prefer to display any tweet to/from @handle.
