• Hi all,

Since I’ve upgraded to 2.7 the content of the pages don’t show up anymore in the editor (HTML is gone too). The content *is* being shown on the website but when trying to edit a page, the content box (‘Visual’ and ‘HTML’) is completely empty. I have this issue with all my pages. I’m using FF3 and IE7. Anyone got a clue?

    Thanks in advance!

Make sure you uploaded all the files in wp-admin. It sounds like you’re missing some.

How did you upgrade? Manual delete the old ones, upload the new ones or something else?

I’m using the WordPress Automatic Upgrade plugin (v. 1.2.2)

    Problem mysteriously auto-solved. Strange….

FYI, you can’t (well, can, but really shouldn’t) use that plugin with 2.7. In fact, upgrading 2.6 to 2.7 using that plugin didn’t copy up all the files.

You may see other problems. I would strongly suggest you do a manual ‘re-upgrade’.

    Thanks for your reply Ipstenu.

As far as I can see, everything works fine. Do you have any additional info (a link perhaps) about the problems that might occur when using this plugin to upgrade?

    Thanks in advance!

Basically it misses files. If you search this forum, you will find post after post solved by NOT using this plugin with 2.7.

It’s a great plugin, but it’s not really needed. Links:
