empty log file

Thanks for using our plugin.
We doubt that this is hackers attack. When we log the sent information we are assuming that you use the default email field in the Contact Form 7, i.e., [‘your-email’]. If you didn’t remove this field from that form then it should be saved to data base.

We tested it and from our point of view it works as expected. It didn’t let us to download the file until we filled an email field in the form.
Please, let us know if your log is updated with our test email.

So we now have a mystery to be solved? How are downloading the files without complete information (name and email)?

At least now we know the it for us. We can’t say why previously the emails have not been tracked.
You can continue your testing and checking if the issue is resolved for you or wait when other downloads will be done by other users.

I’ll follow up next downloads

When I set up the ’email before download’ plugin – and tested it by filling in the form and downloading several pdf’s. Everything was working fine and the downloads showed up in the logs.

But when I deleted all the test logs in download manager. It no longer logs subsequent downloads… completely empty now ??? Grrrr..

Any idea how to fix this?

I have the same problem as annm777, tested it and everything ok.

Hit the button Click to clear Email Before Download log
Log was cleared

But now when I donwload nothing is added to the log.

I de-activated, un installed, re-installed and activated the plugin, still doesn’t work.

What is wrong???????
