Empty .htaccess file giving 404 errors

Dear Supprt,

Around a week ago I started getting 404 no page errors on every page except the home page. I figured out that my .htacess file was empty! Long story short I figured out that re-saving my permalinks solved the problem and my .htacess was containing code again and all was working fine … but every day or so my .htaccess goes empty again!

So my question is (and Im asking this to a bunch of my plugin support pages), does WP Fastest Cache access/edit my .htaccess ? and if so could there have been a problem introduced around the 21st May 2023 ?
