Empty Flat Rate Method Appearing

  • I’ve had many clients complaining to me that on new installs of WooCommerce 2.6 they have this Flat Rate shipping option appearing when they are not using the Flat Rate method. It simply says ‘Flat Rate’ and offers a $0 shipping cost. I cannot figure out where it is coming from. Some have resolved it by creating empty zones, but this does not seem to work for everyone. Anyone else have this problem and know how to get rid of it?

  • @hystericallyme I haven’t encountered this on any new installs of WooCommerce. Is it possible the database had previously had WooCommerce installed and had some defaults setup, or your theme set some defaults?
