Empty Archive Pages Are Excluded From The Sitemap

    Hi,

    empty archive pages of my custom taxonomy are exluded from the sitemap.

    The Rank Math documentation says:

    “To include these pages in your sitemap, navigate to Rank Math > Sitemap Settings and enable Include Empty Terms option in your category/tag/custom taxonomy archive settings.”

    The option “Include Empty Terms” does not exists.

    Is it a paid feature?

    I used the filter rank_math/sitemap/exclude_empty_terms and manually set it to false.

    Now a new sitemap for my custom taxonomy is listed in the sitemap.xml file – but when I click on the link wp redirects me to a 404 page.

    So the empty taxonomies are still not added to that sitemap.

    Any ideas how to solve this?

    Hello @krugmedien,

    Thank you for contacting support.

    Please head over to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta and check if you have enabled the option to noindex empty archive pages.

    If you have, you would need to disable that so that the empty archive pages have the index robots meta tags not to be excluded from the sitemap.

    Watching the YouTube Video helped me a lot.
    I was in basic mode and thats why options were hidden..
