Recently, I have been unable to save a form when I attempt to embed an emoticon in it. In the past, this was not an issue, thus it’s somewhat perplexing. I’ve been using these emoticons in text and description fields without a hitch until now. However, as of late, the plugin doesn’t seem to allow this. I would like to assure you that I have taken the necessary steps to try and resolve this issue from my end. I have checked the database, server permissions, and everything else that could potentially be a source of this problem. Unfortunately, my efforts have not borne any fruit.

I have attached two images to illustrate the issues I’m encountering. I have tried all possible solutions, but nothing seems to have resolved it. Please could you assist me in troubleshooting this problem?

Default theme, no other plugins involved on this site. The server has been checked by the admin for any errors, including those related to the database and permissions.

Hi, thanks for your message. Emojis should be possible to use of course and we didn’t change anything in that behavior. We tested this on our end and this doesn’t give any issues on our end.

To be sure the issue is indeed caused by the emoji, my first question would be if it is possible to store a form without emojis? Or do you also get errors then?

Since we can’t reproduce this on our end, I think we will have to temporary login to your WP-Admin to investigate what happens exactly. Could you contact our support at https://tripetto.com/support/ and grant us a temporary login? Of course we only login to investigate this particular issue and we don’t do anything else in your WP-Admin. Thanks in advance!

@tripetto, it appears that the issue has been resolved with your recent update from version 7.0.1 to 7.0.2. Previously, it was simply impossible to save the form when using any kind of emoji inside it. Now, after updating to 7.0.2, it is functioning as expected! Thank you!

Great to hear the issue is resolved. I must admit that today’s update didn’t have any relation with the issue you were experiencing, so I’m not sure what this issue caused in the first place and how it’s solved now.

Anyway, since the issue is resolved now I will close this topic. If you run into this issue again, please feel free to re-open this topic again, or contact us directly via https://tripetto.com/support/
