    Hello @michenflu,

I can see the lightbulb in the description https://i.mythemeshop.com/0V0Jd4, did you find the solution?

    Thank you.

Oh! So the problem is it doesn’t show up in the snippet editor in the backend. In fact, if I now make other changes and save, the emoji disappears from the metadescription. Knowing the issue I can fix it manually but if you can fix it, it would be even better. Thank you.

Are you using the latest WordPress version? It is a known issue in WordPress v4.9 but if you are using 5.0+ then it should work fine.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

We will be releasing an update later today which should fix this issue.

Also, we would recommend upgrading to the latest version of WordPress & use Classic Editor with it.
