• Hello,

on my website I have a button that shows 5 Emoticons in a box. The user can click on and then it gets insertet into the textbox below. I saw, that wordpress converts the unicodes of emoticons into svg images so that they look the same on different browsers, thats really good. But I have one Problem when i select the emoticon the inserted one in the textbox looks different in every browser. Is there any solution to get the same looking emoticon that the user selected in the textbox?

  • Hey I have the same problem. WP turns them automatically into svgs. That is really annoying. This should be really made better from WP. Just thinking of a css class like something like “emoji-convert” or data-emoji-convert=”false”

But I have found no simple solution yet. But as I said badly made from WP.

It can come from your theme who don’t support all code and special letters for each navigator.
