Emoji Native support on 4.7.2 allows emoji in category?

    Hi,
    I am using the built-in emoji support available since 4.2, but I was wondering whether this actually allows emoji to be included in new categories? Is that out-of-the-box?

    No, only in post content AFAICT.

    I have actually had a play around and emojii from 4.2 onwards are supported everywhere including categories. The important element is to be running a MySQL version higher than 5.5.3 in order to be able to support the required character set (utf8mb4)
