  • Hi there @laetitia-godet,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Can you please clarify what’s happening when you put an emoji in your newsletter?

If they’re not showing, can you please check with your hosting support what encoding is used for your database tables and in the wp-config.php file?

You can use any encoding for your DB_CHARSET that looks like utf8mb4_xxx, for example, utf8mb4 or utf8mb4_general_ci will both work.

You need to ensure that both DB_CHARSET in the wp-config.php file and for your *_mailpoet database table are set up as utf8mb4_xxx.

You can forward them the information above and they will check it.

Let us know how it goes!

    Hey @laetitia-godet,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
