I’m currently on Version 2.0.83, and EME has disappeared from the navigation bar in WP Dashboard for all users, including myself (admin).

It was still there on Version 2.0.71.

    How can I fix this?

Well, currently I’ll remove the “40” from the code again, there doesn’t seem to be a good way (anymore) to avoid conflict. Other plugins do specify a position, but I don’t want to interfere there …

My latest comment is wrong here, see

So normally EME gets added at the next free position. In your case this is not happening, so we need to figure out which plugin is causing this.
If you install the plugin called “Health Check & Troubleshooting”, you can then go to Dashboard->Health Check -> Troubleshoot, and activate the troubleshoot mode. This allows you to act as if you deactivated all plugins (but just for your session) and so you can maybe figure out which plugin is causing this …

Alrighty, I’ve done some testing (thank you for the instructions!). I installed Health Check and ran with all plugins disabled, using Theme 2019. I added the “40” back into line 1780 of EME.

After re-enabling plug-ins down the list, it looks like Shopp is the the one causing EME to disappear. I’m in luck, we’re not using Shopp anymore as our main transaction plug-in… I’ve just hung onto to it as a backup. So I can get rid of it altogether now.

Thank you for all the help!

Shopp is unmaintained for over 2 years and not supported on later wp versions, so it is best to deactivate ??
