you can just click youtube button in the visual editor and the just enter your youtube url.

I tried that add in. when I embed my link, this is what shows on my web-page:

[ERROR: No URL or video ID was passed to the YouTube BBCode][/youtube]

not sure why you would get this error try deactivating any other you tube or video plugins you have installed if any and then try again.

There are no others, I deleted the old one.

Ah! I see what I did wrong. I was using the actual embed code rather than the actual URL of the video.

I’m having the same problem. I’m using Vipers Video Quicktags and i get this error [ERROR: No URL or video ID was passed to the YouTube BBCode] on my overview page. I’ve been trying different youtube url’s but nothing really changes.
