Embedding Youtube Video in a Picture

  • Hi,

    I want to embed a video behind a picture, so the picture is prominent on the homepage, and when a reader clicks on the picture the Youtube video pops up and plays, is this possible.

    Whilst i can play around with code, i’m no developer, so if it involves heavy coding could you explain it please?

  • I think what you really want is an animated flash application that begins by displaying the picture and then only changes its appearance when there is a “click action”. I am unfortunately not a flash developer but it makes more sense to combine your elements into one media type rather than try some smoke and mirrors with a jpeg (say) and a video.
