Embedding videos

  • I am trying to simply upload videos from my hardrive to my server and have them play on my site. I would like my registered users to be able to do the same thing. So far, all my videos are simply links without any sort of embedding that requests the viewer to download to their local machine. I want the video to be able to play in the browser directly.

    I have searched the forum and consequently uploaded two plugins to my server (FLV embedded and flash video). However, I am still just getting the option to add the videos as links whenever I try to insert them into posts. Can someone help me?
