• The video is yet to be made (in 2 days) and there is no urgent need for what I envisage.
    With simple html editing with my Hosting co editor I can upload an image and just add the html of a video over the top and I create the site below.

    However,it’s a different story with WordPress. Is there some simple way I can duplicate the above on my WP site – https://inalarts.com.au – where the large image is situated there will be a video as in the first above demo link?

    There are plugins that let you host a video on say youtube and embed the video player in a page or post. One of the benefits of this is that you do not have to carry the video bandwidth in your hosting.

    Place both elements on a page, video after image. Assign a custom CSS class name to the elements. Use those names as CSS selectors to move the video player up and over the image with appropriate CSS rules. Place the resulting CSS code in the Additional CSS panel of the customizer.
