Embedding Video in WP theme Modio

  • I am trying to embed youtube videos in the posts, but it doesnt seem to be working. I am of course copying the share code from youtube and pasting it in the body, under the “code” tab.

    Any ideas why this is happening, and how I can fix it?

  • Don’t use the visual editor. Go to the my profile link in your dashboard and uncheck the box that says use visual editor. Then try pasting your code again.

    it worked! that’s amazing – thank you!

    any idea if I should do this every time I want to embed video, or is there a workaround? The formatting tab is pretty convenient most times!
