Embedding Video and WordPress Overriding What I Type

  • Hello,
    I just tried for the first time to embed a video in my blog (not hosted at wordpress.com).

    Unfortunately WordPress insists on “correcting” the HTML I type into the HTML editor and in the process breaks the code.

    So I have one question. How do I force WordPress to accept the HTML code I enter EXACTLY as I enter it?

  • You can beat it and force it to accept your input – by not using the Visual Editor – by going to your User profile and deselecting – use visual editor.
