I use it to handle all my video from youtube and stuff, its also supposed to be able to handle self-hosted video…..I haven’t tested it for that, so I can’t attest to how well it works, but the plugin description says it works for that

to embed video without a plugin, it looks like you would just click the filmstrip icon from the editor, and insert the url to the video you have uploaded

I am having a similar problem. Ever since I upgraded WordPress to 2.8.4, I can not embed YouTube videos anymore. All that shows up is the embed code. I tried to use this method, but all that did was put a link to the YouTube page and didn’t embed it at all, as is demonstrated in the video.

Has anyone else had this problem?

OMFG! Same here. I want to post a .flb video (about 10MB) that I created in Camtasia Studio and upload it somehow to my self hosted WordPress site. Why is it so difficult to do this. Can anyone for the love of God please help?

I want to take my .flv video that’s sitting on my desktop and place it in a post. How on earth do I do that? Please assume that I am a moron and need very detailed instructions. Thanks a mil.
