I would like to add videos (served from Vimeo) to the conversation in the Watson Chatbot. I have found a few references to this that claim it works with a standard iframe embed like those that are supplied by hosts such as Vimeo and Youtube, but it is not working for me. All I get it a tiny colored tab like the previous response from the chatbot, but this little tab contains nothing.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @abbydigital.
We released the new version of plugin (0.8.26) that has the fix to your issue. Please update your plugin to the latest version and let us know if the issue persists.

    Hello

Should embedded video in the Chatbot with IBM Watson on WordPress sites now work please? (Using v 0.8.26)

If so can you provide a working code segment sample please? I’ve tried the following and all that happens is that a black box pops up in the chat window.

    <iframe width=”560” height=”315” src=” https://www.youtube.com/embed/ZZZvideonumZZZ” frameborder=”0” allow=”autoplay;encrypted-media” allowfullscreen> </iframe>

(Where ZZZvideonumZZZ is the YouTube video number)

    Thank you

    Steven

    Hello @stevenc23.
Follow these steps to add YouTube videos to the conversation:

    • Use the youtube site to find the video you want
    • Click the ‘Share’ button below the video
    • Click the ‘Embed’ button next to the link they show you
    • Copy the specified iframe code and paste it into your assistant’s response

If you have more questions, don’t hesitate to ask them.

Fantastic thank you – that works ??
