I’m afraid I’m no developer and have read Omnisend’s Embedded Signup Form page and it describes in detail how to make a form and find the code then says “Once you copy the code, you need to open your theme HTML file and paste the code to the part of the page you want your form to be displayed.” Can you please tell me in simple terms where and how I do this? I would like the form to appear in the widget sidebar and had assumed the Omnisend for Woocommerce plugin would have its own widget but I can’t see one.

    Thanks, Guys!

Hello there and thanks for your interest in Omnisend for WooCommerce plugin!

We’ll do you one better! Below you can see a screen recording of how you can approach adding the Embedded Signup Form to your website.

In short – all you have to do is add the custom HTML element while editing the page to the place you want the form to appear. From there on out you just need to copy and paste the Embedded Form into the HTML block and save the page.

Let us know if it helps!

Hi. Thanks for your reply and efforts!

I’ve tried adding the ‘div’ code to the widget area using an HTML Block and also tried doing it the same way on the home page but nothing’s appearing. The only way I can get to anything like in your video is to use the Classic Block but the ‘div’ code displays as it’s written on the website home page.

Although I have the Omnisend for Woocommerce plugin installed and connected, am I missing something else, maybe?

I’d also be happy to give you logins for you to sort this out for me. I seem to be having a ‘doh!’ moment!

    Hello!

Thanks for getting back to us!

Would it be possible for you to create a screen recording that would showcase the exact method you used to add the form to your website? It will help us understand what went wrong and how to help you better.

    Thanks!

Hi. I’ve just recorded my screen and the form appeared this time. Isn’t that typical?! I think maybe that the website caching might have interfered, sorry.
