Embedding a footer

I want to add a footer at the bottom of some of my pages and posts. I downloaded a plugin called Enhanced Header / Footer Injections, and have tried inserting the footer code:

<p>? 2013 Dripping Springs church of Christ</p>
<p><time pubdate datetime=”2012-03-01″></time></p>
</footer>

into the admin page for the plugin and the footer doesn’t show up anywhere. No luck with the developer, so possibly this isn’t compatible with the current version of WordPress. That said, is there another way to embed the footer on either all pages and posts or perhaps just select ones? The code above may not even be “right”, so any help would be appreciated.
