Embedded Youtube videos on wordpress widget, or with lightbox

    Hi!!!
    I have some problems with embedded videos from youtube:

    Youtube videos added on a wordpress widgets with elementor are not blocked…
    An example here:
    https://nalusouls.com/videos/aprendizaje-surf/aprender-surfear/

    Also, Youtube videos embed with elementor video but with lightbox and overlay image are not blocked…
    An example here:
    https://nalusouls.com, scroll down until section “Ejemplos de videos”

    That’s so strange.. I tried to add URL on script center, that’s not working.
    I also try to add shortcode wrappers on html section on elementor but the page doesn’t respond, like if I get un infinit loop.
    I’ll have a lot of embedded videos from youtube so I would like to make it work without wrapping.

    What do you think about that??

    I think I see 3 different implementations;

    – Lightbox, how did you implement this? A video widget of Elementor?
    – This (https://nalusouls.com/videos/aprendizaje-surf/aprender-surfear/) seems a different widget than the standard Elementor widget which can be seen here: https://demo.complianz.io/placeholders/youtube/
    – On https://nalusouls.com/ the full screen vide is blocked, with a placeholder.

    Could you tell me which is which?

    Thank you for answering so fast!

    To respond to your 3 points:
    – Lightbox, how did you implement this? A video widget of Elementor? -> Yes, a video widget of Elementor, with overlay image and ightbox options activated. Location of this widget : see point 3 of this reply.

    – This (https://nalusouls.com/videos/aprendizaje-surf/aprender-surfear/) seems a different widget than the standard Elementor widget which can be seen here -> It’s a wordpress widget inserted through Elementor

    – On https://nalusouls.com/ the full screen vide is blocked, with a placeholder. -> Yes. the problem is after that, if you scroll down after the full screen you’ll see a section named “Ejemplos de videos”. There is the videos widget of Elementor, with overlay image and lightbox options activated that I mention on the 1th point of this reply.

    Hi @paulinenalu,

    Could you try removing the overlay images, as the placeholders of Complianz would function as an overlay.

    Could you also try with the Elementor video widget, instead of WordPress? Otherwise I have to do a deep dive how the WordPress native widget functions in Elementor, Let me know,

    Thank you for your help,
    But I can’t really do this for functional and appearance requirements. So I’m working on to change to vimeo embedded videos.
    Hope it’ll work.
