Embedded Youtube video keeps playing in background

  • User is watching an embedded Youtube video in a post.
    User closes a post by using the cross on the upper right of the screen.
    User is send back to the homepage and although the video is not visible at this time, it keeps playing in the background. (sound)

    When user opens the same post again the video does not restart.

    Is this normal with Gridsby?

    Gridsby image gallery pages do not technically support video post formats. So if you are including a video in one of your posts content sections, it will continue to play unless the user manually stops it.
