Embedded Video covering menu in Internet Explorer 13

My website functions just fine when using Firefox or Chrome, but the menu bar and the drop down items are hidden behind an embedded YouTube Video when the site is viewed using Internet Explorer 13. Earlier versions of Internet Explorer do not have this issue.
The video is embedded through a tab function built in to the custom theme of the website. I have tried adjusting the z-index for the header to see if that solved my problem, but that was unsuccessful.
