Dear Complianz-Team

I have troubles with displaying my embedded Instagram posts properly when using mobile devices – e.g. https://snipboard.io/xPVfs2.jpg –> most of the single Instagram post is cut off so that you only see the first quarter of it.

When the website is loaded in a specific width, there seems to be no issue, however, the problem appears when resizing the width of the page. I realized that the Complianz plugin causes the issues, as I am not having this issue when it is deactivated – I think the plugin seems to block certain content before and even after user consent – some classes are changed and the height property of the iFrame element is removed when the browser is resized. Could you please help me with this issue?

Hi @michailschuch,

I’ll have a look, the iFrame should inherit the height. This is implemented with SmashBalloon in an Elementor block?

Hello Aert,

thanks a lot for the swift reply. Yes, I use the SmashBalloon Instagram Feed plugin to embed Instagram posts and use Elementor Pro.

I have also contacted SmashBalloon and received the following answer:
“The code that seems to be causing this issue is the heigh: inherit in the following CSS:

We are unable to override this on our end for some reason. We would recommend reaching out to the Complianz | GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent plugin developer to see if they can provide any additional assistance.”

Hi @michailschuch,

The issue seems to be that the plugin enables the blocked content container on resize.

Can you install this branch, and let me know if this resolves your issue?

Hello,

unfortunately, the branch https://github.com/Really-Simple-Plugins/complianz-gdpr/tree/dont-run-blockedcontentcontainer-on-resize keeps getting deactivated after updating the Complianz Plugin to the new version 4.9.5 (from old version 4.9.4.1).

I receive the notification: “The Plugin complianz-gdpr-dont-run-blockedcontentcontainer-on-resize/complianz-gpdr.php has been deactivated due to an error: This plugin file does not exist.”

Could you please help me to fix this problem?

We have merged this branch into our next release, which will be Monday.

Please keep using the 4.9.4 version until Monday ??
