Embedded ICC profiles not preserved when optimizing for size

    Maybe this is intended, but it probably should not be a feature.

    Any images that are optimized for size are stripped of their ICC profile. Since this is probably one of the primary reasons people (photographers etc…) are using the plugin I would think the ICC profile should *always* be preserved, if present.

    If nothing else, maybe it could be an optional choice to remove it or not. I wouldn’t mind optimizing my medium sized and thumbnail sized images for file size, but not at the expense of giving up the ICC profile.

  • Any update on this? My resized images are also appearing a little bit muted, without the expected color or sharpness that you get when resizing in Photoshop.
