  • The latest version of the plugin (2.6) should fix this, but if you have any documents embedded just before the update (showing /view in the URL) then you will need to embed them again to get the /preview URL. (Or you can just edit the shortcode manually.)

    It sounds like you’re already aware of most of this, in which case it’s possible that you updated the plugin but it’s still picking up the old version of the plugin’s Javascript. Refreshing your browser completely should help.

    If you can’t get things working, please get in touch over email with more details of the problem (e.g. the shortcode that is being incorrectly generated by version 2.6).

    Another possibility is that the file isn’t shared as ‘Anyone with the link can view’ – or in some way that the current user should be able to see the document – which would actually be unrelated to the recent fix we needed to make due to Google’s API changes.

    Thank you danlester, I did the browser refresh and now I am getting the “preview” in the code. (If anyone else views this thread, I’m guessing you mean version 3.6?) ??
