Embedded Ads are not loading

    Hello,

    I just set up complianz on my page https://aquarium-fische-pflanzen.de/ to make sure it doesn’t load any cookies before the user gave consent. The biggest part was to make sure that no ads are being loaded before the user gave consent.

    I use Adinserter Pro to insert my Adsense Ads on Posts and I followed this tutorial to set everything up: https://complianz.io/integrating-with-ad-inserter-and-adsense/.

    Before I set up complianz, ads were loading before content, after the TOC and in total there were many more ads (for example after x percent of words within the paragraphs). All of these “embedded” Ads are not showing anymore, even when I opt-in. I can just find some ads after half of the content and in the sidebar, as well as vignette ads, which is not enough especially for mobile devices.

    Why are these ads not appearing anymore? What must I do to make sure all ads are loading, when the user gave consent?

    Really looking for help here. I’m also happy to buy the premium version if I can get the support that I need to fix this issue.

    Hello @mluppert,

    I’m seeing some errors in the console, among the errors is an invalid URL because of an encoded link. (Screenshot here: https://ibb.co/L0Vb324)

    Could you (temporarily) disable any plugins with Caching/Minification functionality, such as WP Rocket? That would allow me to have a closer look at the behavior of the site, as minified scripts and filenames are hard to read.

    Hello,

    thank you so much for your reply. Can you access the site with the parameter “?nocache” in the end (e.g. https://aquarium-fische-pflanzen.de/?nocache, so I don’t have to disable the website’s speed? You can use it on any page, just by inserting it behind the url. If that doesn’t work, let me know and I’ll disable it asap.

    Hi @mluppert,
    Without caching/minifcation active, the invalid URL error(s) seem to have disappeared. Adding the parameter “?cmplz_safe_mode=1” effectively stops Complianz from blocking scripts, but the behavior seems to remain exactly the same.

    Perhaps you can also verify that “Dynamic blocks” in Ad Inserter has been set to “Client side insert”?

    For questions related to the placement of advertisements, perhaps the Ad Inserter support can be of better assistance as Complianz doesn’t serve ads on your website.

    Hey, yes its set to “Client side insert”.

    So you cannot help with this issue?

    Hi @mluppert,

    When I visit a page in Incognito mode, I seem to get plenty of ads throughout the content. I have attached some screenshots to show how it looks like on my end. With ?cmplz_safe_mode=1, the placement of these ads doesn’t seem to change either.
