    Hi!

I’ve lost count how many clients I’ve forced to switch to Ninja Forms, I love your plugin so much, but why is this shortcode wrong:
    https://daneloctober.tinytake.com/tt/MzU0MzQ3MV8xMDY2NDU0Mw

    It’s displaying [ninja-forms id=’2′], when it’s supposed to be [ninja_form id=2].

No wonder it wasn’t working. I was going crazy trying to figure it out. Good thing the Ninja Forms Dashboard displays the correct shortcode, or else I would never have noticed the difference.

Please correct it. It’s the thing that you see when you click on the link icon beside the “Publish” button on the upper right of the edit form page.

  • I came here to report the same issue. It was bugging the crap out of me.

Clicking on the “Public Link” icon in the editor, shows a shortcode with a hyphen between “Ninja” and “Forms”, instead of an underscore.

Had a feeling it was the case, and thought Ninja Forms maybe forgot to register it’s own shortcode, so I sniffed the code for the “add_shortcode” lines. Yup. Underscore.

@daneloctober and @crystalfyre I am sorry for the trouble that this has caused. We are aware of this issue and a fix for it will be released in the next version of Ninja Forms.
