Embed video on top of header image

I’m using a static header image in twenty seventeen. On the front page only, I’d like to embedded a YouTube video on top of the header image, so the viewer can click play and watch/hear the video. (Then when they continue scrolling down the page, the content goes over the entire header, video included.) Can this be done? Thanks in advance!
